UNWTO Ulysses Award for excellence

UNWTO Ulysses Award for excellence in innovation for project Fragrances and tastes of the island of Lošinj

Town of Mali Lošinj and Tourism Office have received a prestigious Ulysses Award for excellence in innovations in tourism and won the third place for the „Fragrances and tastes of the island of Lošinj“ concept and project.

World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has been presenting this award since 2003, and among other competitors in our category there were also Peru with its project “Y tú, qué planes?” and Vienna Tourism Office with „Creating Vienna’s Tourism Strategy 2020“ project.

The jury was composed of 11 independent members.

 

The fragrance network has expanded in all forms, from floral displays, potpourri, liqueurs, juices, cakes, fragrant decorations to gastro-menus where, in various ways, autochthonous island plants are used
